The novel that started it all.

Comedian Taylor W. Wilson founded LMS shortly after releasing his first novel Dark Matter: Code Red in 2018. He immediately began drawing the Table Manners comic strip, reinventing it and making it into a lasting comic.
The original concept of Laughing Matter Studios was that we wanted to bring comedy to the world without boundaries. In 2013, Taylor founded Taylor Productions. The studio was meant to produce entertainment of all genres, but fell short of doing more than a few of the original Table Manners comic strips. Taylor left the studio idea behind in 2015 as he pursude the life of a thrash metal band lead. Wolf In Vain became his passion. By 2017, though, Taylor had realized that Wolf In Vain had left a hole. In 2018, Taylor felt the time had come to reboot. The goal was comedy for everyone, though plans were set to release content of varying genres. The Dark Matter franchise was the first to form, displaying Laughing Matter Studios' action side. In the same month, Table Manners was rebooted. The comic strip laid out the comedy genre. In 2020, the studio showed our capabilities as a video game developer. That's My Book!!! was a short video game built to run on PC and (now for the exciting part) the original Nintendo Gameboy. Laughing Matter Studios continues to create content as often as possible. We have big plans for the future! |
Job Openings!We are beginning to look for more permanent individuals to start building up a core team. All positions are currently pro bono, as the studio's only income goes directly into new equipment (we are using loans to start up). Of course, if LMStudios begins making a profit, the core team would be able to sit down and work together to begin delegating payments.
All positions will work directly with Taylor Wilson, regardless of the project. There are only 3 openings that will be available at any given time, but if you have proficiency in a certain field for a position not listed, feel free to reach out at laughingmatterstudios@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do. All team members received admin powers on the LMStudios Discord. Included with this is the ability to jump into and leave our live streams at will. You will receive your own Table Manners character! Taylor will work on this part with you s that the character is exactly how you want them to be! All team members will receive an LMStudios shirt after being hired.
